Learning idiomatic language is a crucial part of becoming a proficient English-speaking rock star. Okay, so this isn’t new information.
You’ve been told it’s important before. But why?
- So that you can improve your listening and reading comprehension.
- So that you can enrich your vocabulary and sound more natural.
- So that you can increase confidence while speaking.
- So that you can boost your English test scores!
️ We will achieve this by:
- Attending 5️⃣ live workshops hosted by Kiera and the Immigo team.
- Engaging in pod meetings (small group conversations) with carefully selected students from all over the world with prompts related to what we discussed in the workshops.
- Engaging in the community group chats and practicing speaking English as much as possible together!

Kiera Ayres
Kiera is an expert IELTS instructor who has hosted students in her virtual classroom from all over the world.
She specializes in communication offering a learning environment in which all students can thrive. Her charismatic and thorough teaching style has resulted in her students consistently scoring high on the IELTS test.
After this course, you’ll be able to do what so many students have done before you: speak confidently, and fluently with impressive vocabulary!

- You should have a CEFR or equivalent intermediate or higher English proficiency (B1 or higher)..

- At this time, the club experience is designed for folks over 16 years old. Please be patient, as we hope to create a program for younger learners in the future!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take this course if I have a full-time job/am a full-time student?
Absolutely! The course will not take a lot of your time. However, we ask our students to dedicate at least 3 hours each week to the course.
What is the price of the full course?
The price for the full 5-week course is 39 USD, but if you buy our 3 or 6 courses bundles you can get each course for 29 USD or 19 USD respectively. Our goal is to make language learning fun and inexpensive for anyone who wants to learn.
Do I have to attend all of the live sessions in real-time?
Not necessarily, but we advise you to attend the weekly live streams so you can chat with Kiera and learn about the new topic.
What time will the sessions be held?
Join the Immigo team and Kiera via Zoom starting from March 12th at 10:30 PST (Vancouver Time). You’ll also practice English with other students in small speaking groups at a time that your group can decide together.
Will I work with other students?
Yes! We hope you can make many new friends and find a great English speaking partner to truly improve your English speaking skills.
Will I get to meet Kiera in person?
Yes, you sure will! During the live Zoom call, you’ll have a chance to talk to Kiera and ask her any questions about the topic and language learning.
